Okay, so I said I'll tell the story of the delivery of sand and gravel from a couple of weeks ago.
Well, it was delivered for sure and the lorry completely ruined the grass I'd been growing and was so protective over. The next problem was that the tipper lorry would not tip. A mechanic had to be called for.
Eventually (French time) the one-eyed mechanic arrived with another grass murdering vehicle... but immediately saw the problem...a flat battery.
Before they'd finished, those vehicles had reduced me to tears over the loss of our nice flat new lawn area. To add insult to injury, our neighbour's dog also left his mark.
