A week of sport and exercise.

This week has been all about defining borders, cutting trees down at the side of the bread oven, disposing of the evidence (trips to the tip), planting bulbs, shrubs and flowers, building stone walls, sieving soil and relocating it (an endless arm-aching task) and looking at options for the future.

I blame the World Cup, Wimbledon and the Tour de France for not making more progress :)

And how it used to look...after it was tidied up!

The digger arrives soon to dig all the roots out and level the area.  Can't wait!

More photos of this week to come.

It's raining now, so no grass cutting. Thank goodness!

  3. Hi Joy! It's nice to hear from you. I have to admit to slowing down a bit these days. I seem to want to do far more than I'm able to and sometimes get frustrated because of it. I'm working on lowering my expectations :)

Hope all is well with you.
