Settling in nicely...

Well, here we are in France. The weather has just turned cruel but we still managed to get quite a lot done. We are online at last thanks to an Orange Domino belonging to Martin. He loaned it to us to see if we can get a signal and we can. Pity Skype is poor, but at least we can do everything else. We'll give it a few weeks to see how it performs before buying one.

We were surprised to find out that we needed to open a bank account here before being allowed to buy a Domino or subscribe to internet and phone, so that's what we did.

We've been out buying wood in Ploermel as well as looking at settees. I also had a very interesting chat with man in a gallery in Josselin after I'd just bought new rope for the doors on our wood burner.

Studio not quite up and running, but it won't be long now.

Can't wait to get painting again.

  2. Judging from the date of this post, I would like to believe that you are well settled in by now.
I get a bit of news of you now and then in my newsfeed on Fb...but they're so few and far between.
    Have a good week!

  3. Thanks, Jean. It takes a while to settle in, but we're getting there.

    Hi Joy
We thought we'd be well settled by now, but time flies so fast and there have been loads of 'one-off' things to sort. I think it'll take forever to really settle. It's good to hear from you both.
